Samantha Bridals did it again! The star studded event marked this  year’s Kenya Wedding Industry Awards Gala and trust me when I say it was attended by the most elite in the wedding industry. The event was had a theme dubbed Great Gatsby which featured pearls, feathers, lots of fur and lace and not to forget exquisite head gears. Trust me, if you didn’t dress up to the theme you would have felt super under dressed. The star studded event was held at the Trademark Hotel where the most elite in the wedding industry came to experience Samantha’s Night Of The Stars. I loved how everyone took the theme seriously, trust me it was not a joke! First of all, the ambiance was just ( i have no words for this ).. from the amazing food, to the decor and the red carpet which was streaming with photographers, I honestly felt I was at a Hollywood event.

This is what went down:

The gents were also not left behind. The came out looking their dapper best with colour coordinated suits and bow ties.

The guest in honour was  PS Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife Dr Margaret Mwakima, she was dressed in a matching blue official outfit which she looked gorgeous in. While CEO of Samantha’s Bridal, Dr. Catherine Masitsa wore a black lace gown paired with a black pearl neck piece and  embellished headgear.

I always show up with my date, Diana of Denim and Cateye! What I love about our style is that is is so different but it compliments the heck out of each others outfits. She looked stunning in her gold high low dress which she topped off with her fasicantor. I on the other hand wore an all red ensemble paired with my fur coat ( first time wearing it)

Overall it was such a well attended event and yes people did dress in accordance to the Great Gatsby theme. Everyone went all out, from the furs to the feathers and gloves. My overall review: this just happens to be one of the best events I have attended so far.
